Episode 134: Beauty in decay

In this episode I reflect on the beauty that can be found in the process of decay. I invite you to look for examples of change, aging, decomposition, and decay in nature around you. This process is essential and beautiful. How could you capture this in your journal?

I created a video over on YouTube to show how I sketched these curling, drying mulberry leaves. Head over to YouTube to watch it and please consider subscribing to the channel for more videos like this.  You can also read about finding beauty in decay on the Journaling With Nature blog

What examples of decay can you see in your nearby nature?
