Fine Art Print - Nasturtium

$60.00

Everything that is alive will change. It is natural, inevitable and can be a beautiful process to witness. This piece is special to me because I sketched a single nasturtium flower over the course of two weeks, visiting regularly to notice how it had changed. I watched as the bud opened, the colours deepened, and the flower burst into full bloom. Once, while I was sketching the flower, a native bee visited in search of pollen. By the end of the process, I was wildly in love with this one faded blossom, having witnessed the entire process, from bud, to full flower, to withering and decay.

40.6 cm x 20.3 cm fine art print on 280gsm cotton rag paper with archival pigments, printed locally in Samford Valley, Queensland, Australia.

Print is unframed.

Store prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). Click through to see our returns policy.
